Diploma graduands from other technical training institutes (TTIs) shall soon be offered a chance for admission of Bachelor of Technology programmes in the Kenya Polytechnic University College.The principal,Professor Francis Aduol has said.

The degree programme is in line with the five year strategic plan to guide in the operations of the college in the period 2010-2015.

It also provides the university college to be a fully fledged university of technology with a firm polytechnical character.

Prof.Aduol said that the students who have diplomas from the institution may now be admitted for programmes that may lead to a 4-year degree programme in the third year of study.

He was speaking in this year's graduation ceremony that was marked at the polytechnic grounds and was presided over by the chancellor,University of Nairobi Dr.Joseph Wanjui.

With the security kept vigil due to the last year's stampede,the ceremony was marked with pomp and colour.More than 2000 students graduated from the institution.

Her role is caring for the little children whose parents have either abandoned or are deceased. Dimina Khasiala Kahi, 52 left her house help job she did for 20 years before meeting the maiden role of taking care of the orphaned children .She is currently the director and founder of Tunza children’s center based in Ngong.
